Life goes on.

It turns out that you will indeed be the villain in someone's story.

It doesn't matter how much good you do in your life. If you are someone with integrity and someone with morals, you will surely make someone mad during your time on earth.

You will hurt feelings.
You will step on toes.
You will forget to reach out when it counts, and stick your foot in your mouth at the worst possible moment.

You'll get dirty looks at church
Dirty looks at the grocery store
Dirty looks from across the table at the youth organization meeting.

You'll eventually grow thick skin
And shed more than a few tears
You'll relive conversations and wonder where the hell you went wrong
You might not even have a freaking clue why
Others suddenly want nothing to do with you.

You're not always going to be everyone's cup of tea, shot of whiskey, or rasher of bacon.

Stay true to yourself. Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

No matter how right you think you are, there is always a chance you're wrong.
