I am inspired by my experiences growing up on a commercial cattle operation, and then raising my own herd with my husband and kids. I have a deep love for the land, cattle, horses, and the changing of the seasons. My passion lies in capturing the reality of farming, ranching, and people doing what they love, and sharing those stories either through written prose or photographs with those who may not otherwise experience agriculture first hand.

I have been invited to share my personal story at the StrongHer Together Conference in 2024, HarvestHer Retreat, MT Cattlewomen’s Summer Meeting, and the Williston Ladies Ag Night in 2025.

I am a self-published author and the face behind Prairie Crocus Creative. I am also a freelance columnist for Cattle Business Weekly and have contributed to multiple agriculture publications since 2015.
