Prairie Home

Let me grow old on the prairie, let me lie under the blue skies and golden sunsets.

I want to wander down old gravel roads and through fields of grass; to experience the roar of thunder and horses hooves across the wide expanse of the earth.

Let me awaken long before the rising of the sun, and stay awake long enough to see the darkness, the stars, and the moon.

And when my spirit shall depart my earthly body, please spread my ashes at the top of a grassy hill, so I can become one with the land forever.
