Pray; Cuss; Drink the Shot of Whiskey

She works in town
She works in the corrals
She works in a home office, all alone

She drives the side by side,
tractors and feed pickups
She drives the SUV
But would rather ride her horse

She wears leather and turquoise,
pony tails and ball caps
She wears slacks and boots,
Blue jeans and dresses

She cusses
She prays
She falls to her knees
And hangs her head

She drinks water
And she drinks beer
And sometimes, she indulges in a shot of whiskey

She has insecurities
She has faults
She makes mistakes but keeps trying

She's old fashioned and steady
A wildflower
A rolling stone

She's a momma bear
And a wife
And a little girl at heart

A lover, a fighter

Chapters in an unfinished book

A product of God's grace
And every day life
She's all of us, and she's amazing.
